I hav a ? for LG Hacked, where is d weather widget located? I look at d Homescreen theme but I do not see it there. Thank U  Smiley

boricua - As v12w61 mentioned, you'll need to download the weather.txt from the link listed on the first post, here is the instructions posted by Jeffery (and the links as well):

Download your weather.txt file HERE or HERE and place it in your themes folder...NOT the Homescreen folder...also, you'll need to update your weather.txt file every week in order to keep your weather info up to date...the weather.txt file can be updated as often as you wish but it will "expire" after a week.

Again, as stated you need to place the weather.txt file within your main "Themes" folder (the folder with your ThemeList.txt file)... Wink

I understand all that but don't u need to have the weather widget to be able to communicate with the weather.txt like you have with Glassic and Android themes. I have the weather.txt on the theme folders, the other themes are pulling the weather.txt information without any problem. May be I am missing something.

It seems as though you might be...or perhaps you have two Homescreen folders?  Make sure you only have Themes>Homescreen; and not Themes>Homescreen>Homescreen... Wink

I check my mm1 directory and I only have one Homescreen folder. The theme is working fine when I open it but I can not find the weather widget anywhere. Are you suppose to put it in the Homescreen folder like Glassic.

no the weather widget dont go in the home screen folder it goes in the theme folder like this mmc1/Themes/    also check to make sure there are no capital letter errors meaning H and h could make a difference in the reading to so make sure your home screen folder has a capitol H and the theme.txt file has a capital H for the folder location hope this help

ps i think he mean that the homescreen folder thats in the themes folder open it to make sure you dont have a homescreen folder inside of the home screen folder expample: mmc1/themes/Homescreen/ homescreen folder

I check all that and everything is ok, what is the name of the weather widget that is suppose to go on mm1/theme directory. Like on Android is 1.swf in my case and on Glassic is Glassic.swf. I do not see an option to pull the weather info. on my Homescreen theme.

thats because its implemented in to the theme its self so all you have to do is load the theme and put the weather.txt file in the right location and it should load

 also try to reinstall the theme
if you can post a screen shot of your theme folder and the home screen folder

To be honest, it's not hard to figure out what the ThemeList text information is for any theme.  You pretty much put the name of the theme for the 1st and 2nd (ThemeName) parts; for FolderName will be the name of the folder that "houses" the main theme .swf file.  And then of course the FileName is what the name of the actual theme .swf file.  Anyways...lol...here ya go:

Memory Card:

<Homescreen   ThemeName="Homescreen"      Location="0"   FolderName="Homescreen"
FileName="Homescreen.swf"   />

Phone Memory:

<Homescreen   ThemeName="Homescreen"      Location="1"   FolderName="Homescreen"
FileName="Homescreen.swf"   />
