LG Vu Homescreen 2.0 Theme!!!

                                               HOMESCREEN 2.0
this theme was made just to change the way your homescreen looks...meaning...it still uses the Vu's default menu...its pretty convenient if you ask me...hopefully you guys will like it too..i saw somewhere a while back that someone requested something like this so maybe this is what you were looking for...

UPDATED TO VERSION 2.0!!!

The clock is not a 24 hour it just doesn't use the whole am pm thing...

With version 2.0 you'll notice i took out all the shortcut additions that i previously attempted to modify to make everyone happy....well...i came to the realization that that was just not possible...so its the way it was designed to be now...EXACTLY the way it should be...hint hint:

Download your weather.txt file HERE or HERE and place it in your themes folder...NOT the Homescreen folder...also, you'll need to update your weather.txt file every week in order to keep your weather info up to date...the weather.txt file can be updated as often as you wish but it will "expire" after a week

WEATHER NOTE: the weather nor the weather.txt file do not cost any money whatsoever..the weather information is read from the weather.txt file you download...so it DOES NOT use internet


Also, you can thank bmxer55 for the weather find....and joe earl (joe13) for the creation of the weather widget...i simply customized it to match homescreen 2.0

Very nice Jeffrey!  A cookie for your hard work.  I like that it's simple and clean...Unfortunately I don't really use the  "Check Email" or "Send and IM" features...I use more of the "Contacts" and "Alarm" functions...

Agreed about the lock icon, but still, I love the simplicity of it and the wallpapers look good too! I'll be waiting on the 2.0 for sure, keep up the good work. I can always expect great themes from you. Already thinking of what's coming next...I don't give out many cookies, but you've been making some nice themes, and seems like they are back to back releases....so here ya go. omg thats so cool, did the person ask for a home screen like the lg ks20 or the lg incite because it kind of reminds me of it. It would be cool if it had those bottom thingies like the normal lg vu but rather then stopping short at the edges it extends further to the end of the screen like it has on the lg ks20 or the lg incite.

ok...i slept late today (the time on those pics are AM)...lol...and this has gotten quite a bit of replies in this short time...so i'm going to try my best to address them all...haha

well, the person didn't make a direct request to me, and they didn't really specify a style if i'm correct, but they did ask for a simple homescreen type thing, so i did some searching to see what exactly a simple homescreen should look like and here's what i found:



so that means this was NOT my original idea, i just made a version of it for the Vu...just in case anyone was wondering

i probably will change the lock symbol because i've used this for three days now and its started to annoy me...lol..im just not sure what to change it in to and working on the Pure sort of takes up the time to just sit and think...haha

i'm glad you guys appreciate my hard work!!! i know i said i wasn't taking request but i forgot to take it into account how many people either dont pay for internet or hate the Vu's suckish Mobile Email...lol
so i will probably change those...i actually use the IM though but since thats already sitting up in the status bar i should be good...
