WITHOUT MEMORY CARD:You CAN also install it this way too if you want to BYPASS the JAR METHOD with the extra clicks such as install under games/apps/run now/run later:

THERE IS A MAX OF 148 GAMES FOLDER the Vu can hold even if the memory is not full.

In order for you to install GAMES/APPS without a memory card is to rely on someone else to give it to you after they install it themself. Here is how the nice and generous people can help those who don't have a memory card.
FOR GIVERS:1) Install the game/app as you would normally.
2) Connect to the phone and back up two things: the folder (Mxxx) the game created in the LGAPP/Media/Java/ams
folder and then the corresponding folder in the rms section (I know these are empty folders...just do it).
3) Compress it up (rar) and name the file respective to the game and post it here.
FOR RECEIVERS: (DATA cable is REQUIRED for no memory card users)
1) Connect to the phone using
EFS after downloading the game you want and extracting it somewhere
2) Go to the LGAPP/Media/Java/ams and copy the Mxxx folder in there and while you are here delete
4 files:
_chapi_db_, _folder_db_, _ms_db_, _push_db_.
(Note: you CAN re-number the folders. Use a different number if
they are obviously being used already; just make sure you do it to both folders: Mxxx and xxx)3) Open up the rms folder (from current screen) and put the corresponding folder number (xxx) in there.
4) Last, but not least, reboot the phone (turn off and on...do whatever you need to)

Installing from Memory Card (all phone models):
1. Connect phone to the computer in mass storage mode
OR use a card reader (for those without a cable)
2. Create a new folder with the name of your choice
3. Extract the download files as they are compressed in .rar format (see tutorial section if you need help)
4. Copy the individual jar files or complete set (all the folders) over into the folder you made above
5. Disconnect your phone
6. Open up the Main Menu and navigate to the 3rd tab down and hit 'more'
7. Now select 'Memory Card', then find the folder your created earlier
8. Open the jar files to install the game
9. Follow the on screen instructions and then your done.
*Repeat steps 8 and 9 to install more games/applications.
