Man you're beautiful. I still have some hair left. I just couldn't figure why I wasn't being able to play any music. Great work.

it's working for me.

mpFIX updated.rar is 19 KB for me.  did the download fail?  try downloading it once more.  if you still have trouble i'll throw it up on a filesharing site somewhere.

I was really nervous trying to change files on my phone, as I'm only somewhat "techie", but I felt I had nothing to lose, since the music player didn't work.  Your  instructions on backing up, copying files, etc. were very helpful, and it worked.  I really appreciate everything you guys do to help those of us less "techie" to fix things that don't work.  I spent a lot of time with LG and ATT without any success, so it's nice to have other places to go for help.

Ok, this fixed it.  Not hard to do, and I'm not going to argue if it is necessary.  What I want to know is Why? ... Does this happen to people who haven't monkeyed with the phone?  I know ATT will show me the door if I were to ask them for help.  is there some action that causes this to happen?

I tried to connect to my phone with EFS. It connected to the phone fine but only showed a BLANK root folder! How do I make it show the files and folders in it?

Thanks,

Phi
