This theme is now outdated.

Download iPhone Theme v3.0 by thelukester92. It has LOADS of new features that you will love!

======================================================================
======================================================================

What is it?
iPhone Theme v2.3 for the LG Vu. This adds a few iPhone-like features to your Vu. The slide to unlock feature is NOT a "real" slide to unlock, all of the hardware buttons will still function even when you are at the slide to unlock screen.

What is included in this package?
    -iPhone Theme v2.3
    -Readme file
    -Changelog

Where can I get it?
The package is attached to the bottom of the post, and all the information you'll need is inside the README.
-Note: You must be logged in to download.

What do I need to install it?
        -A DATA CABLE IS REQUIRED
-Extended Interface Package (EIP) v0.4 or higher

Weather
weather.txt should be placed in the root of the Themes folder, or inside the iPhone folder.
For PC: Click here and download a generated weather.txt
For Mobile: Click here on your phone to update on the go Smiley

Version History
v2.3 released December 11, 2009
Changelog can be found here: LINK

Older Versions:
iPhone2.2TU915.zip
iPhone2.2CU915.zip

The iPhone theme mods are NOT compatible with v2.3 of the theme unless stated otherwise in the mod creator's post.

*note: there will be no further updates to this theme.

ok i got the eip downloaded now how do i put files on fone to access theme

This is not the correct forum to be asking how to install the extended interface or how to use bitpim ect... Do as we all have done and start at the site below and start reading..

http://www.lg-vu.com/index.php?board=43.0

Then go to this site and get aquanted with what you need and how to mod your VU..
http://www.lg-vu.com/index.php?board=44.0

BMXER your theme is just fine,
I've had it loaded all week and not one glitch, sorry your getting dumped on here by users who are incorrectly installing it or modifying they're Theme list.... Your work is greatly appreciated and unfortunately the Moderator is going to need to step in and send the posts which pertain to install problems to the proper forums, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the iPHone2.2 theme, if your having problems it's at YOUR end not the theme's...

on the iphone, theres this function where u can hold down on an icon and activate the "wiggle" which allows u to move the icons to different pages and rearrange them to ur desire...im not asking that it be added...because i'd much rather see how bmxer goes about updating this...(he's made the theme amazing so far) im just wondering how u would go about adding it...would it be just a matter of adding interactivity to every icon or is it more than that??? im dying to know but dont wanna waste time doing it myself if it doesnt work that way

PS. what kind of global moderator has one star??? whatever...lol
if it were a 4.5 there wouldnt be up to 50 different mods for it...

So you can't get the theme onto a LG VU without a data cable you can't just hook up your memory card in the computer and put it on there

Thanks

the black theme would be the original preset load up theme...the iphone them should be called iphone obviously and after each power off/power on u will have to reselect the theme u want to use unless u move it to the top of ur themelist...just copy and paste the iphone line in the themelist onto the top and then delete it from its previous place..then it will be the default theme and will load up when u power off/power on

hope this helps....

Did you tap battery icon in upper righthand corner of your phone ? If you did and you got an error you missed a step.
