I wasn't sure about these upgrade instructions?
  • Do we replace ThemeManager.swf or just delete it?
  • Is the theme_bg1.swf factory default file is included in the v0.5 upgrade zip?  Or another place?

You just delete it, and the theme_bg1.swf is on the first post, separate from the package.

I may be missing something...??  I followed just your upgrade instructions above.  Now when I turn on my phone it's set to Onyx theme.  But when I click on the battery icon, nothing pops up. Please advise.

If we are deleting the Theme Manager and stuff...

Why is the "theme_bg1" still in the eip...if you made it separate..

Wouldn't it just be easier to put the new T1 menu and the original factory themebg1 in the EIP?

Or do we have to replace the "Default, Slide" Folders?

It looks exactly the same to me O_o

The only thing that is different is that i don't have the themes manager in my themes folder xD

but yeah...thanks for the update

The themebg_1.swf posted is the original themebg_1.swf. This upgrade just puts the thememanger inside of the T1_menu.swf, which will help with loading problems caused by thememanger.swf issues. The basis of it is to make it more convenient for the user.

yeah i know..i think i said that..

The theme manager was alright for me..but i'm not complaining..

and yeah..i figured that the theme manager was on the t1 menu because you "delete" the theme manager and "overwrite" the t1 menu.

I backed up my themebg_1 and it was a bigger size then the one posted here..
does that mean something?

I just used the one posted here on my phone..

Well it seemed like you were asking questions about how it was functioning, but no it doesn't matter. The themebg_1.swf from your factory files might be a bit larger in file size, but that doesn't really matter, since all it is, is basically a black background.

That now..when you select a theme..the theme manager window actually CLOSES NOW!
