So if I install BITpim and use it for my LG VU CU920 I will lose the TV feature?

You cant have LG Suite running and bitpim. You have to fully exit Suite.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FQJ4XKHY   --- This is for the LG Tu915 which is the Canadian version of Vu
It is a rar file and then an iso.
If you don't know what to do with these Google is your friend too.

Is this software for the Vu that people are trying to figure out where to download?

GR8 thanks ..i have installed LG pc suite ..it detects the phone but does not do any of the feature ..were you able to hookup with BITPIm ..its not working for me ..were u able to make it work ..

thnxz ...

When you installed PC Suite and connected the USB cable to your phone, what was your "connection Mode"?  Was it Music Sync, Mass Storage, or Data Service?  Because my computer keeeps saying that connection failed, and it cannot detect my phone.

There are 2 reasons why it MIGHT not be working:
You have to change connection mode to DATA SERVICE
You also might need to download PC Suite here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FQJ4XKHY

Okay so I have my phone set as data service, but now when I connect the phone via usb the only thing that happens is the phone charges, and I still not see the connection via lg pc suite or bitpim. I can connect via mass storage and move files onto the memory card that way but I want to disable java security.

question1:

is this bypass reversable? If I follow the instructions in reverse, do I get the default applications back?

question2:

Do I lose ALL of the applications/tools? Some I'd like to keep, like the world clock, stop watch, etc

question3:

is it possible to bypass java security for a single application?

q1: I believe it is reversible if you restore the att.pol file to the default.

q2: I don't think the Java bypass will affect tools like calculator, world clock, stop watch and etc. Those tools will still run perfectly.  I believe it will only affect the Java applications that you installed. Correct me if I am wrong. I believe you will need to reinstall those Java applications that you have installed for them to work correctly.

q3: not sure

OK I have followed the directions precisely but I cannot create a new file in the "cert" folder. Also cannot copy/paste the file or move it across to the phone. I have the LG pc suite and Bitpim 1.05, have already allowed Bitpim to write things to phone. Can anyone help me?  Huh?

Thanks
