i have a serious issue. I was replacing some paf files when I added the Android scheme and the power went out in the middle of the process and my phone turned itself off and will not turn back on. I have tried pressing the side buttons while trying to turn on the phone to try and get to either the gang image screen or the emergency download screen but my phone is unresponsive. Can someone please help me get my phone working again? it wont even go to the charging screen when I plug in the charger

Benjamin, unfortunately, your phone is bricked. I don't really think there's anything you can do about it. That's the reason why EFS takes so much precaution about interruptions (disabling service, charging, etc).

I'm freaking out I just f***ed up royally! I think my phone is fixable but I don't trust myself to do anything to it further without consulting you guys. Ok, here's what I've done so far:
- I opened up EFS and clicked download not knowing what it did and it seemed like it restored all the data stored in the handset memory aka most of my phone book and restored default settings for ringtone etc.
- me being an idiot though oh hey here's the file it backed up and tried to restore the LGAPP folder, didn't see this thread first :/
- so what I've got now is a phone that is stuck on "re flashing"

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me from what I've read I can tell you all know your stuff.

Thanks a lot I was able to fix it. I had read those methods earlier and they weren't helping but when I looked into it deeper I found that since I have the DEC_12 software I had to use ATT's little utility first in order to get EFS to find it.
Again thanks so much for the quick response I was just missing that little part before and when looking again I found what I needed.

When do method C, have it off, power it on, wait a second, then press and hold all the side buttons and you will see this image:

Once you are here, get into your phone as you normally would before and make sure you didn't delete your factory images, specifically the sunset as I have mentioned in the previous posts. Read the first post again to obtain files you may be missing.

when i did this this showed up... its blue and black and says " Gang Image Mode" help?
